Polaris comes from the superimposition of 18 offset colour satellite photographs obtained with a Landsat-8 satellite. The satellite was set up with the coordinates of the dome of the Refrigeration Station of the former Magazzini Generali in Verona, aligning its vertex on the axis of rotation of the image.
Around this architectural element, the landscape looses structure, and changes its substance, becoming liquid and unstable until it dissolves into a single concentric composition.
