Premio E.ART.H.

Fino al 31 May 2023

If the Earth is one and unique, our ways of living it, understanding it and inhabiting it are multiple and different. A single world made up of many worlds, whose biodiversity is not only a constitutive characteristic, but a value to be defended.  The art also lives of these constitutive characters.

American ethologist, anthropologist and environmentalist Jane Goodall, UN Messenger of Peace and Grand Officer of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic, recently stated in an interview: “I find it shocking that the most intelligent creature on this planet is destroying its only home. I believe there is a disconnect between the intelligence of the mind and the love and compassion of the heart. Only when head and heart work in harmony do we reach our true human potential”.

The Prize is aimed at artists who place the promotion of active diversity at the centre of their research. From looks that embrace differences as a resource, to practices that highlight virtuous uniqueness, focusing on the biodiversity of the world around us and observing how different forms of life thrive around and with us. The Prize therefore aims to be a tool for promoting new ways of looking at the complexity of life on the planet.

The E.ART.H. Award is promoted by EARTH Foundation, a place where the vision of sustainability, responsibility and sharing that distinguishes the projects of Eataly and Green Pea is applied to art.
