Dedicated to children from 6 to 12 years of age, the workshop includes guided interventions on pages of old newspapers, or on magazines, in total freedom with tempera colours, crayons and felt-tip pens.
During the workshop some works by contemporary artists who use paper as a creative medium will be shown, including Ibrahim Mahama, Dan Perjovschi, Jonathan Monk, Nanni Balestrini and many others, to provide some creative ideas. Paper that has been consumed and is ready to be thrown away will be saved, giving it the chance to be used in new ways, resulting in small, unique works of art.
All the works produced by the children will be displayed in the Eataly Art House areas, creating a small diffuse exhibition that will be open until 21 April 2023. At the end, their small works of art can be taken home.
The event will last one and a half hours and is open to a maximum of 20 children aged between 6 and 12 with a parent/ carer.
Meet at the Wine House (Eataly Art House, first floor) on Friday 14 April 2023 at 5.30pm.
